Shane Hennessy is a musician from Ireland and played music and visited with the junior high students earlier this afternoon.



Congratulations to our preschool program for earning the prestigious 'Illinois Gold Circle of Quality' recognition from ExceleRate Illinois. This accomplishment was determined through our state evaluation last spring. Gold Circle programs meet or exceed rigorous quality benchmarks in areas such as learning environment, instructional quality, administrative standards, group size and ratios, staff qualifications, and professional development.

8th Graders on their Field Trip to John Deere Davenport Works yesterday.



Our high school government class attended the naturalization ceremony at Augustana College today. Our students led the ceremony with the Pledge of Allegiance and were seated on the stage.



Yesterday - Cambridge freshman attended the Farm Bureau Sharing the Road Program at the Henry County Fairgrounds. Presentations were made by the Farm Bureau, the Henry County Sheriffs Office, Goldstar, Operation Lifesaver, and the Illinois State Police. Students learned life saving tips prior to beginning their behind the wheel experiences. It was a very informative program enjoyed by all.

High School PE classes participated in The 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at the football field earlier today to pay tribute to the FDNY firefighters and first responders by climbing or walking the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.
