🌺✈️ Mrs. VanHyfte just got back from the trip of a lifetime in Hawaii! She crammed a ton into one week—from Pearl Harbor and a traditional luau to the Road to Hana and relaxing in the sun.
The absolute highlight? Snorkeling with endangered green sea turtles and the famous state fish: the humuhumunukunukuapua’a! 🐠🐢
Fun fact: Our Cambridge kindergarteners actually learn about this fish to prepare for their own classroom "trip" to Hawaii each year! Talk about bringing lessons to life. ☀️ #FuelingUpForFall

Illinois High School Association (IHSA) partner, Planet Fitness, has announced that it will provide free access to its fitness clubs in Illinois to high school students throughout the summer of 2026.
The Planet Fitness Summer Pass ’26 provides free access to high school students ages 14 to 19 from June 1 to August 31, 2026. “We appreciate Planet Fitness providing this wonderful opportunity to allow high school students in Illinois to maintain their
health and well-being throughout the summer free of charge,” said IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson. “We recognize that for some students, especially in the summer, Planet Fitness may be a more viable option than training at a high school or other venue. The Summer Pass ’26 epitomizes Planet Fitness’ mission to promote physical and emotional health for young people in our state.”

Mrs. Foley’s 4th grade students published their first book, "Our Classroom is a Zoo!" From developing the storylines to creating the illustrations, the students took ownership of the entire process. The stories were incredible, and the pure excitement on their faces when the book was revealed today was a moment to remember.

Homecoming will be September 26th. We are happy to announce the 2026 Homecoming theme is...
