Chemistry II students put thermochemistry to the test! They were able to visualize the energy (Calories) stored in some of their favorite snacks—watching that energy transfer in real time!
Next up: Analyzing their data to figure out how the Calories on nutrition labels are actually determined.

A festival like this does not happen without the help of my fellow directors and my Cambridge parents! Yesterday, we hosted the junior high Lincoln Trail Band Festival. Joy Boostrom did an awesome job with our kids! Thanks to the directors that brought extra equipment for all of our percussionists! Thank you, Madeline and Karol, for organizing all the percussionists and organizing the extra equipment. Thank you to the parents and students that were able to help serve the meal this evening! The cherry on top was getting to perform music with my fellow directors! Have a great end to your school year!

Our 3rd graders had the opportunity to take a step back in time and tour the historic Deere-Wiman and Butterworth Houses today.
Students explored beautifully preserved rooms, learned how families lived in the past, and discovered how everyday life has changed over the years.

Our 5th Grade Buddy Program wrapped up the year with a fun trip to the Cambridge Natural History Museum and the park!
Throughout this school year, kindergarteners and 5th graders met once a week as buddies and built some really special connections. It’s always great to see our 5th graders step into leadership roles and be such positive role models for the younger students.

Congrats to our Viking of the Week winners!
