Temperance Wells, Harper Kane, Gunner Snook and Karmen Moore received Best of the Day certificates from the IESA for their great performance at solo and ensemble in April!

Today, Mr. Taylor served as Superintendent for the Day with Mrs. Bibb. He had a full day of greeting students, visiting classrooms, handling bus and maintenance projects, designing social media graphics, and making important decisions with administrators! We also snuck in a quick lunch with some colleagues! Thanks to the Taylor family for supporting the Cambridge Academic Foundation by purchasing this experience!

What an amazing day of music! Six members of the Cambridge High School band were selected to participate in the Bradley University Honor Band today. Students spent the morning rehearsing and then went into break out sessions after lunch. Evan Akers was part of the percussion ensemble, Brodin Palmer, Austin Woodbury and Nicole Legate were part of the Groove Project (a large ensemble that learned to play New Orleans style jazz by ear) and Carly Dale and Brooke McCoy attended a session on music writing. After another rehearsal in the afternoon, the concert band made up of students from seventeen schools across central Illinois performed their music for their audience. They sounded fantastic!
