What a beautiful day for Field Day!

What beautiful day for Field Day!

Students in Mr. Hamerlinck's class released 8 Painted Lady butterflies after observing their metamorphosis journey.

Today, Mr. Taylor served as Superintendent for the Day with Mrs. Bibb. He had a full day of greeting students, visiting classrooms, handling bus and maintenance projects, designing social media graphics, and making important decisions with administrators! We also snuck in a quick lunch with some colleagues! Thanks to the Taylor family for supporting the Cambridge Academic Foundation by purchasing this experience!

Students in Mrs. VanHyfte's class are learning about the life cycle firsthand as they watch baby chicks hatch right in their classroom!

4th grade students wrapped up their unit on the solar system by creating their own planets. We are proud of their hard work!

Thank you to the Henry County Soil & Water Conservation District for bringing our 3rd graders oak trees to plant as part of Earth Day!

Our 3rd graders had the opportunity to take a step back in time and tour the historic Deere-Wiman and Butterworth Houses today.
Students explored beautifully preserved rooms, learned how families lived in the past, and discovered how everyday life has changed over the years.

Our 5th Grade Buddy Program wrapped up the year with a fun trip to the Cambridge Natural History Museum and the park!
Throughout this school year, kindergarteners and 5th graders met once a week as buddies and built some really special connections. It’s always great to see our 5th graders step into leadership roles and be such positive role models for the younger students.
